Shopify Connector User Guide

1.What is Shopify and how does it work?

Shopify is a Canadian e-commerce company headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario. It is also the name of its proprietary e-commerce platform for online stores and retail point-of-sale systems. Shopify is a complete commerce platform that lets you start, grow, and manage a business.

2. How do we integrate with Shopify?

Shopify integration is API based thus we have to integrate the account in WAP.

In order for this integration to work, we need to have admin access to the client’s Shopify.

3.Connector setup

We need to fill in this information for the relevant seller/supplier in the Shopify Connector (form 10100):

Name: The name of the client Integration: The integration credentials needed for this connector (usually its integration ID 1) Active: yes Client Email: this will be the email where an authorisation link is sent in order to approve the Hemi app in Shopify. OAuth Began: will up to yes when authorization is started Shop Domain: From Shopify URL (shop name).myshopify.com NB! Don't forget to activate the cron in the Shopify Connector tab once you have set the integration.

Here in table 10100, we have section settings from where we can control the different functionalities based on the client’s and our needs.

Ftp Credential is set from table 130. This is where the Get Products call will export the products from Shopify in a .csv format

4.Account set up:

A new table is advertised Account Shopify connector.

In order for the Get stock flow to work, we need to add a Shopify Connector location for the practicular seller in the Locations table.

External id: This is obtained from client’s Shopify → Settings → Location and we need to take the ID of the location from the URL Connector id: drop down

After we have an active account and Shopify connector we will receive an email with a link to install our app in Shopify and this app is basically our connection.

NB! : If the account we have been provided does not have permission to authorise the app, we will need to pass the link to the customer so they can approve the app with their master account and ask them to provide us the generated link with the code in it (check last image).
