Even though you enable the Closed flag stock updates will continue to flow to the marketplace. This due to the way the marketplace handles variation listings. If for some reason you create a variation listing and you decide to close one specific SKU the way the functionality should work is to stop sending information for that particular SKU which in the case of Gmarket is not an option. The way Gmarket works is that when you want to send an update for a variation you are obligated to send all of the SKU’s. If you miss to send one it will get deleted.
Because of the above stock updates need to be going through even though Closed is enabled.
