The purpose of this page is to describe the products multi record view custom screen.
Hemi is a data tool and as such our aim and focus is to give the client the best representation of its data and the ease of data manipulation. Our focus points for the product MRV (multi record view) are to provide: Scalability - A key feature of a bulk data manipulation tool is its ability to handle massive amounts of data without compromising performance. Data Export - We should offer export capabilities to store processed data in various formats. Bulk Data Manipulation - Allowing the client to process large datasets in batches. This ensures efficient resource utilization and facilitates automation of data processing tasks. User Interface - Last but not least the UI and the UX which is the hardest part. The user interface should be user-friendly and provide comprehensive data visualization and monitoring capabilities with intuitive design.
We have tried to incorporate all this into a single product MRV with better data visualisation, separation between listing and product and intuitive approach.
Product Multi Record View Data Representation
The view will be separated into two modes “Compact” and “Detailed” which will allow us to change the data representation and the user to decide if they want to see more or less of the product details. Please note changing between the modes should keep the searches, filters etc. and do not reload the page. Also we would like ot have a freeze column Product(SKU) and Actions and the horizontal scroll to be between them.
Compact Mode
The compact mode allow the user to see more details of the actual Product Account and easily manipulate the data but still giving the option to see the product data if necessary. In the first column we will always have the product and bundle information and we want to always show the SKU which means it cannot be removed even from the column chooser. The structure should be {field label}: {value} except from the main image and additional image urls which are popover fields. The search of the Products column will filter only the SKUs if any other searches want to be applied on the product the user should use Advance Search feature. If we have more than 2 fields added for the product we want to have the Show More/Less action which allow us to expand or collapse the product data. The select is always per listing and if we have select even one product account we select the product as well.

Detailed Mode
The detailed mode give us the whole information about the product, increase the padding between the records, increase the characters show of the title, description, the image is always a thumbnail. In the first column we will always have the product and bundle information and we want to always show the SKU which means it cannot be removed even from the column chooser. The structure should be {field label}: {value} except from the main image which is a thumbnail and additional image urls which i popover field. The search of the Products column will filter only the SKUs if any other searches want to be applied on the product the user should use Advance Search feature. The select is always per listing and if we have select even one product account we select the product as well.
