Cloud Service - What's Inside?

We've always positioned UseResponse as a self-hosted software with perpetual license. But most users want to get on board and start working with users right away.

Setup environment (server, PHP, apache, mod_rewrite), install application, work on performance of application - it's only short list of what business owners or webmasters have to pass before they can start using self-hosted version.

Of course, you can control your data later, no need to spend money on monthly basis, but you have to come to this decision and know - self-hosted is not the choice when it comes to spend less on initial phase. That's why our self-hosted package was chosen by more than 1000 corporate organizations. Less than 30% of them were small companies and medium sized business.

Cloud Service / Pricing

Many requests were coming in on cheap alternative to self-hosted. On competitive market, there are tons of services similar to ours, but users liked our UI, number of features and system with predefined logic for almost any use case. In the middle of June, we've finally launched our cloud plan and updated website. 

 

While creating  trial, you have 14 days access to all features. Pricing is only $10 per agent/month when you order 12 months and more. We have also corporate Cloud addons that would extend your system with specific features.

Getting Started with Cloud

Once trial is activated, you need to make several things to start using your support center:

  • Create 2-3 ideas that you think your product/service need. Also, ask and provide answers on your own to 2-3 questions that most likely users should know about;
  • Change main community title, logo and setup your own domain in Administration » Settings;
  • Create categories  for your support channels like feedback, tickets, knowledge base in Administration » Categories, so your users can group requests;
  • Add custom incoming mailboxes and setup custom SMTP server if you don't want to use default in Administration » Mailing;
  • Customize home screen to make system look more unique with widgets that you want to use;
  • Review topic and ticket statuses and add required according to your workflow.

As you can see, we didn't mention setup of support channels, as system goes with predefined rules for feedback and help desk. But you can create your own ticket rules, and review other settings in Administration » Feedback and Administration » Help Desk.
