Hemi & Threecolts Login

The purpose of this document is to give detailed overview of the new login flow in Hemi via Threecolts manager portal.

Dear Hemi user, as you probably already know Hemi was acquired by Threecolts in November 2023 (you can see more here). Threecolts is a US based marketplace solutions provider and as part of this ecosystem we are excited to provide you with features expansions and new experiences in the very near future!We are excited to announce the implementation of the standard Threecolts Single Sign-On (SSO) functionality in our system. SSO streamlines the login process by allowing users to access multiple applications with a single set of credentials. This enhancement aims to improve user experience, security, ease of access and in the cases of managing multiple accounts an easy User and Access management.

What will change: As we introduce the change to your Hemi accounts we will automatically move your users to the new manager.threecolts.com portal:

from where all login will happen.

All current links and login you are using will redirect you to the correct login so you can easily reach and access your Hemi.

Once we’ve sent your users to the Threecolts login manager you will be invited to register with the provided email and create a new password.

Once you are in, you will have the option to Launch your Hemi.

One change you will see in the Hemi UI is that at the top of your Hemi you will always see the Threecolts navigation banner, where you will see your organisation, your user and the account to which you have access. If you have access to multiple accounts that’s where you can easily change which Hemi account you see. If you have access to only one account there will be only one Hemi account in the drop down.The last change you will see is that while operating in Hemi you will no longer have a link in the browser in the form of “clientName.wearepentagon.com” where you will always work in the “hemi.threecolts.com” domain. If you are operating only one account you can skip the next part :)

If you have access to multiple accounts we’d like to point your attention to this change - As part of the new SingleSignOn there is one major limitation - you can operate in only one Hemi at a time! You can have multiple tabs open in that one Hemi but if you change one of them it will not track all other tabs. Once you refresh the tab it will automatically change to the latest environment you’ve selected from the dropdown. We’ve introduced safeguards so if you change to another Hemi any access to the previous one is lost and will be blocker by our UI until you change from the dropdown again.

With SSO, users will no longer need to remember multiple usernames and passwords for different applications. They can simply log in once and gain access to all authorized services seamlessly. This will reduce the time spent on login processes and minimize the risk of security breaches associated with password management.

Management Part:

The structure we introduce with the adoption of the Threecolts manager portal includes Organisations > Account > Users. Organisation is the responsible company of ownership of each Account. An Account is each Hemi environment available for said organisation. User is the actual end user with their respective access. An organzation can have multiple Accounts and then a multitude of users that have different access to the different accounts. Furthermore we are not limiting each user to only one Organisation so as a User you can have access to Hemi accounts for multiple organisations.

For Organisation Owner/Admin:

• Products

  The portfolio of Threecolts products which now Hemi is part of. You can navigate and explore them and launch them.

• Users

  All admins and owners can add or remove users in the organization. For example if you would like to give a new user access to the organization hemi clients you have to add it in the organisation either as Admin or User.

  For each user you can select to which clients (applications) you give them access.

• Organization

  You are able to update your organization details like name, country, address, TAX, phone number and logo.

• My Profile

  You are able to update your profile details like names, username, email, phone number. Also you can change you password and set your Two-factor Authentication.

• Notifications

  All notifications regarding your profile will be listed in the notification center.

  For Users:

• Products

  The portfolio of Threecolts products which now Hemi is part of. You can navigate and explore them and launch them.

• My Profile

  You are able to update you profile details like, names, username, email, phone number. Also you can change you password and set your Two-factor Authentication.

• Notifications

  All notifications regarding your profile will be listed in the notification center.
