Email character restrictions

Is there any list of characters you are not allowed to use in an email address to create a new user account?

When I try to register an email that use the '+' character the system prompts a "email is incorrect" error. Is there any way to remove this restriction via settings?

We would make ability to add + in emails everywhere system wide and accept that character in all validations. The next release would be in about 3-5 business days.

Hello,

the ability to add plus sign in emails is available in 4.7.5 release.
