User Email notification to categories
We segment our board using the category system
Idea: Users receive a notification when a new idea is posted to that category
User to self subscribe to a category. Unsubscribe via email / board
Admin: Add and remove subscription
Rational
Users don't often check the board as there isn't a high post frequency.
We want users to provide comments to ideas
If users don't engage with the ideas board then it doesn't fulfill its purpose.

Recently we've released a new feature that will cover your use case - Email Digest.
With this feature, the customers may subscribe to separate categories and get daily updates on them which increases the interaction within your community portal.
The feature is available for Enterprise customers.
