Can users vote multiple times on one topic?

Answered Tom Hiskey 6 years ago

I'm looking into UseResponse as a solution for members of staff at our company to log feedback received from customers on the phone, by email etc. I'd like users (staff) to be able to vote up a topic multiple times, if they receive feedback from multiple customers. Is this possible, or are users limited to one vote per topic? Thanks.

Users can vote only once for a topic.

You can subscribe or vote for this idea that was recently added and similar with your use case https://help.useresponse.com/topic/let-agents-vote-for-and-subscribe-other-unregistered-users

You are welcome. We'll try to make this option soon.

Thanks Stas. Just to say that I completely understand why in ordinary circumstances you wouldn't want to allow users to add any number of up-votes, but in our particular case it would be great to have an option in the administrator settings to 'un-restrict' voting. Thanks for considering it.

Agree. This option should be available only for support agents. We just need to discuss it first internally in order to make it in the right way.

Hello, Kris,

thank you for sharing the idea with us.

We'll take it into consideration.

We want to announce that the option for users to leave several votes for 1 topic is available for Enterprise customers of only self-hosted version. We would still consider the option to add votes for support agents, but don't still have solid plans as there are many contradictory things releated to metrics.
