Standard Welcome Messages stored

Have you considered creating the ability to store a number of standard welcome messages to be selected when creating user accounts - in the same line as canned responses
We have a number of categories that we use different welcome messages for - it would be handy to have them selectable from the create user screen rather than me copy and pasting them each time

I think it's more reasonable to change registration email template to include general information if you paste it very often. You can check it in Custom Email Notifications article.
But in your case, when you should use custom messages for specific users and they are different, only copy/paste is the only option.
We'll see overall importance of this idea during the time and see what we can do.
