How to change the TimeZone

Can anyone tell, How can I set/modify the Time zone from the Admin in the UseResponse ?

The option would be available in 4.0 release

There is no such option, but we'll consider it adding in further releases. Currently time zone is taken from server, but I don't see the application of using different time zones, as all posts, comments and everything in the system is relative like:

Posted 3 hours ago and no matter in what time zone you are located.

Stas. One more item on this. We have three global support teams in three different timezones. The team is asking if there is a way to set the timezones by staff location so when say the UK or ANZ team creates, updates, or answers a ticket/post that their timestamp is correct? Right now the server time is somewhere in the US. Thanks

Hello Lee,


In the system we try to use "some time ago" so it doesn't affect any time zone. Only tickets show the exact time. We'll work on it once time zone settings are going to be implemented so all teams in different time zones would see valid date/time

Tome Zone setting is available in 4.0 version. Now you need to set it up in Administration - System. If your team or member of the team is located in the different time zone, he can change his own time zone in user profile
