How do you embed a YouTube video in a response or answer?
Hi guys! we're doing some tutorial videos for BlogPress, and uploading them to YouTube.
So question is, how can I embed a YouTube video in a response - or in an answer to a question in our forums?
Thanks!
I think it will be valuable to some users, so we'll integrate such feature in the next releases to have one more option at text area to insert video. This would be close to Knowledge Base Module release. When? No exact date :)
Done in 2.1 Release

Hey Stas! Have you considering using Oembed for this? - http://oembed.com/
The great thing about Oembed is that it's a widely supported standard now, so is it would make it possible to include videos from YouTube AND the other video sites that support it. And other resources.
I see how WordPress is implementing it, here are the details: http://codex.wordpress.org/Embeds
What's cool is in a new WordPress post, I can just post a URL of a YouTube video, or Blip.TV video, and the Oembed takes care of it and automatically grabs the latest embed code. MUCH better than hard-coding the embed code from YouTube into the post itself.
** plus wordpress is open source so you can see exactly how they're implementing it. :-)

Thanks Dan! We'll consider it for the release, as we are currently working on WYSIWYG Tweaks :)

All I get is a big white spot where the video should be and nothing is clickable.
I am using the demo site from useresponse.net.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hello Troy,
You should just take the link of youtube or vimeo video in your browser
Let me know if it doesn't work like this for you

I was trying to over complicate it.
