Embed a widget on an external page

I would like the ability to embed the widget or community onto our help page.

For example a customer has an issue and they click a Help link on our website. The help page has some contact information and other things, but can also have the simplistic design of the widget embedded in it so the customer can just start typing their problem in directly on that page.

Joel,

You can easily inject Support Center widget into you page. Select "Embedded" mode then copy/paste provided code at the place on page where you want to display the widget.

Thanks, sorry I missed that.

In addition I would like the ability to have both the tab on some pages and embedded on others. Not a high priority though.

Thank you, we'll consider it for the upcoming releases

I would like to embed a small widget, on one dedicated portion of my home page, which shows the latest activity on my community. Is this possible ?

I think I had seen this in some earlier version of UR, but I am not sure.

Joel,

You can do it by using Support Center widget. Simply disable all blocks except topics and you will get the latest topics only which will reflect the latest activity on your community.

Thanks Paul,

But I think this will affect my main Support / Feedback page also. Will it not ?

... If they are not linked with each other then I could take the new code and paste it on that portion of my website, but I think currently this feature is not enabled on UR.

Kapil,

If you already have setup widget to use on your website - this solution will not work, because any changes will affect it.

By the way next UseResponse version will bring multiple Support Center profiles feaure and you'll be able to maintain different widget variations.

So, wait a little.
