We are pleased to announce this feature in the 5.1.5 release. It can be set in Administration - Business Hours to automatically take the correct time for the team.

If any agent has their own business hours, it will look into his profile to either do +1 hour or not for his speciic timezone and location.

Is it necessary to activate the option every spring and to deactivate it manually in autumn?

That was not the idea. You could manually change the time zone before.

It should be automatically determined whether in the region (in our example Europe / Berlin) the summer time is currently active or not...

This is the point of the setting. If it's on - it would automatically detect if user is located within summer or winter time :)

So you just need to switch on this setting and system will understand when it's required to use +1 or not.

You don't require to turn this setting on and off. Just once turn it on.
