Company Updates
One feature, that we like, which getsatisfaction has is "Company Updates" Company Updates are for the most part just another response type, like (question,idea, etc). However there are a few important features that make company updates great.
1. Only designated community staff can create a "Company Updates" post.
2. The community home page shows the latest company update, and a link to "View all Company Updates".
3. When a company update post is created an email is sent out to every member of the community telling them about the update.
The feature is great for announcing things like new software updates etc.. We would love to see a feature like this added to use response.

Totally agree with you. We just have it in our roadmap as News section, where updates will be posted. Just don't have exact date or release it will be done, but expect it to be done by summer!

We don't have exact date as it's still in planned status as you can see, though you can find some layouts for settings and display area. This is just a quick update, most likely it will be available during next 2 months.

Just wondering if you had an update on 2.1? My company is anxiously awaiting the Company Updates feature and I'd like to give them some sort of rough estimate on when it will be out.
