Allow One Agent into Multiple Departments
I just had a meeting with some of our client's senior staff and thus have a number of ideas and questions for you. I am going to make an effort to break them apart into logical Topics here.
In some cases, we would need to add an Agent into a Sales and a Support Department, in the current system, this is not available.
We don't plan on making it in the near future. The reason is in system consistency with assignments, filtering, etc. Maybe we'll get back to it later.
The workaround is to define the best department to assign user or call department with double name like:
Currently departments are only for internal usage.

Right, but its nice to be able to add Help Desk Rules based on Department.
