Add possibility for email notification when sheduled job fail
Hi,
our scheduled Frequently job failed with error:
PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 60 seconds exceeded in /var/www/locusmap.eu/help/application/3.4.2/modules/helpdesk/services/MailProcessor.php on line 458
This issue was caused SPAM email that contained tons of links and other mess. Due to this error we didn't receive emails in help desk system. Could you please add feature that send some email notification for administrators when job fail? Or better to identificate email as spam and throw it away :)
Thanks
Petr
Petr,
In near future we will try to optimize our mailing mechanism functionality.
Additionally we suggest you to use any anti-spam software on your mail sever, for example SpamAssasin.

Hello,
we've come to conclusion that it's rather difficult technically to send email notifications to admins in case jobs failed.
When scheduled jobs fail or other system issues occur, admin could be notified on the main page of Administration area. By clicking System Warnings you could see that scheduled jobs have to be launched.
Hope this solution would work for you.
