add security policy: disable the editing of foreign comments

Archived Jens Havelberg 5 years ago

It has happened that seemingly agent comments have changed from other users. please do not allow any agent to change someone else's comments. it is enough if he can still edit his own comments. So far unlogged manipulations by all agents are possible.

Hello, Jens,

Please describe the issue you encountered in more details.

So you want agents not to be able editing comments of other agent and users?

If yes, please provide several use cases why it's critical for you.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Liza

it's just about manipulation. In our well over 50 agents is incomprehensible, if someone would change a text of another agent note or the customer comment. therefore, it would make sense to just limit this. We have to keep a few correspondence as documentation and there the real content is important!

Makes sense. What if one agent misspelled anything or want to remove private info that posted live via email and another agent need to change it in order for it not to be indexed?

This way it would make moderation a bit complex and won't bring any value.

So this would be the opposite side of the use case.

Optional! This agent would have to turn to a colleague with higher rights.Making an internal comment out of a public comment to hide information that should not appear in the public domain would not manipulate content. Hide only to the outside.

I would imagine it in different way. So you can see in the backend who updated it. This way you see intial comment and updated one and who didi it

also a good idea. if it is very transparent, it is also good.
