As of now we don't see space for that feature, as we have Newsletters module in our extras section to organize email campaigns, etc.
should be possible to export newsletter subscribers at least
You can export subscribers while sending newsletter using Export feature while creating campaign. It should work to export from txt file.
At least we use it without problems :)

I don't think that module support this.. you can do it within PHPMyAdmin to export users. This is the only option as of now.
Extras are not supported on regular basis and are going to be used as is. We'll see what we can do
