paste inline images from clipboard to any objects in WYSIWYG editor

Completed Jens Havelberg 9 years ago

to create a fast documentation it would be really nice, if i could paste screenshots from clipboard into the WYSIWYG editor, instead of upload every image manually...

Thank you for the idea. Most likely, you'll have to make documentation from prepared materials, so copy/paste is more custom use case for that.

We'll see what we can do once we'll make more changes to the WYSIWYG

This is so important this days.

We use it to answer customer, edit KB articles, etc... we use this so much images (monosnap/lightshot) to support our customers that the copy/paste is critical to our productivity.

It will be so good to have this everywhere we can create content (KB/article) or answer customers (tickets/helpdesk).

After using it you can't live without it anymore.

thanks and good job!

Agreed, adding copy/paste for images would make integrating existing documentation easier.

The most requested feature from our users! :)

Hi Stas, is it possible in 4.0?

Not yet, but we definitely going to integrate it after 4.0 is live. Just not the top priority now.

Copy/Paste images from clipboard inside wysiwyg is a must!

We've already done drag and drop of images, so woulf consider this idea to be done once 4.0 is stable

Paste inline images from clipboard would help us very much, too.

Hello is this something that will happen in the upcoming weeks? it is a significant enough problem that our group is considering alternatives.

Where exactly is pasting from clipboard is crucial to you?

Embedded images, inline tables. Both as a user in the community portal, as well as an agent. It was initially referenced by a director when creating a ticket.

We would try to add copy/paste inline images, but we definitely won't do it with tables.

Feedback, tickets and comments are limited in wysiwyg as it should ve secure, and I'm sure we are best in the market to make balanced approaches in UI and features.

So expect to get it with images. Other files would be just added as attachments
