Widget language

Archived Hugo Maugey 10 years ago

I've enabled a new language (french) in administration, made some translations but neither in web interface nor in widget I see how the user can change language settings.

My website is in english and french, I'm wandering if (and how) can I pass a language parameter on widget opening ?

Thanks

Currently, our system works only with 1 language at 1 installation. So if you want to have multiple languages, you'll need 2 installations.

We just don't find a reason to mix content of different languages in 1 community, but consider it for future releases just with another approach

Thanks for quick answer !

Yes understand what you mean : same questions in different languages is not a very gracefull approach. My problem is that french people are just to bad in english :)

2 more questions related to subject :

- can I make 2 installs with free package ?

- how to set default language (didn't find answer in doc or questions) and dont' see how to peform it in administration language tab ?

Thanks

Hello Hugo,

Yes, you can make as many installs as you want with free package.

Just select language at Administration->Languages and click on Submit. More details in Languages article.

Hi

I have a multilingual portal. Having a possibility to switch between the UI languages would be a huge help!

Thanks a ton!
