Why are private announcements hidden from Home Page, Agents?
I created a private announcement today, once that I only want our Agents to be able to read. I assumed that a) it would only be displayed on the home page for Agents or above and b) it would be hidden for everyone else.
What I found out is that when I sign in as an Agent, that Agent cannot see the announcement, it is not even listed in the "Statistics" widget, much less displayed on the home page where public announcements are.
So... can you tell me what good Private announcements are if only Admin can read them?
Private Announcements could be read by any agents and admin in the list. But we don't want to show it on home page to not mix admin view and user view, so you know which announcement is shown on home page.
Private announcements will be also used in future functionality that we can't disclose now, as we are going to tweak the module after 3.1 update.

I will sign in as an Agent again, I saw no way of reading the private announcement.

in 3.1 there is a way to read them in the list of announcements. In 3.0.2 there was no list of announcements. Only integrated it in 3.1.
