Problem with Upgrade to 2.0

Archived Synergis A. 12 years ago

I just did an upgrade to my site and now when I go to Administration -> Settings or Administration -> Interface -> Widgets. I get the following error along with a crash report. How can I correct this?

Call to a member function renderViewScript() on a non-object

Please do the following steps:

  • Change the value of the field system_version field in settings table of database to 1.1;
  • Go to application/modules/system/Module.php and change to 1.1 in the following line:

  1. ->setVersion('2.0')

It should work for you.. Sorry for inconvenience!

Could you please attach crash report to your problem? You may also send it to paul@uswebstyle.com. We need to determine this error using stack trace. Thanks.

If you still have a problem please provide an FTP access as hidden text in comment or mail to support@useresponse.com. We need to see your remote scripts.

I need to do this tomorrow. It is on an internal server. I will need to make changes to provide access for you.

Did you change the code maybe by implementing some customization? Errors may occured after code changing.

The only customization I made was to the global.js. I have however since deleted eveything off the site and then upload the 2.0 files fresh from the zip file. I still get the error. Could it be an error with the data?

Cesar, I think you have UR installed in folder but not domain. Please open .htaccess file where UR is installed and remove line:

  1. RewriteBase /

We'll try to resolve such issues in future releases when customers have it installed in folder and upgrade it.

Cesar,

Also, if you don't have it installed in folder, please clean /cache folder

Cesar, you already had that problem when you installed UR. Please refer to the following solution when next time you upgrade.
