Pre select categories

Is it possible to pre select a category and still have the interface from the root url.


E.g. I would like the layout from http://[product].useresponse.com but seperated into linkable categories for each of my indivdual products.

As of now you need to add separate categories within one community or create several communities.

Later we would add support for UseResponse worlds. Some details are in the following topic

BTW, categorization is specifically for your needs, so you can name them in translation tool to be Games and instead of Select Category, Select Game. If multiple widgets are required, you can create separate support center widgets with different settings.

Yep, already created multiple categories, which seems to work exactly as I want them.


The only thing I seem to be missing, is the ability to link users directly to each to give feedback.


E.g. I do not want to mix up the tickets between games and my users are not likely to correctly select categories.

As of now, you can make Categories to be required field in Administration - Properties - Topics.

That way users would have to select the game before they submit the request.

Once we add the feature with Worlds - it would be much more convenient to provide support and manage content.
