License voided / DNS issue

Archived Solbjørg S. 10 years ago

Hello,

after purchasing your corporate package, we've come to change the DNS entry for the server which will host our useresponse instance. I understand that we were able to change the DNS for the license.key ourselves through the website within 30 days, but I guess it's beyond 30 days now. We would like a license.key for dinesiderbeta.test.lanekassen.no instead of dinesider.test.lanekassen.no. Could you please help us?

Also I've seen in this topic https://help.useresponse.com/topic/your-license-is-voided-error-message that useresponse requires internet access to check the license. In our environment, the servers hosting our web and useresponse are running behind a firewall only accepting connections inwards, and no connections outwards, and that's a corporate policy that I don't think we will be able to circumvent. What can we do?

Hello,

We've changed license url to dinesider.test.lanekassen.no

Now you need to take new license from licenses page, and replace it in application/configs. Then clean cache folder.

After 30 days you need to do again the same procedure if your server is behind firewall. After that it will work without problems and no actions are required.

Let us know if you have more questions.

It should be dinesiderbeta.test.lanekassen.no as I described above. Thank you for your quick response!

Great, thank you. But when I go to the License manager page and click download under the Self Hosted header, I'm redirected to the useresponse-corporate_2.3.10.zip download, and not the license.key download. I don't see any other download links, and the .zip file doesn't contain any either. The download link points to http://www.useresponse.com/download/273/corporate

I've attached a screenshot

We've just updated community and licenses management, so there is temporary problem as I see that we are going to fix during the day.

As of now, I've emailed you license.key.
