Install problem on Windows Server 2008 - phpmyadmin
Hi, user response looks nice, trying to install the free version. First part about validation goes well (see screenshot), but when I click on "install", I got a 404 in response (see second screenshot). Any idea?
Something that may be linked: I needed to go to userresponse/index.php as my apache is not picking index.php files by default.
Any help would be most welcome.
Thanks !
Martin
Martin,
Fnd out why index.php is not taken by default when you enter the URL. The problem might be in web.config for IIS. I think rewrite rules are not correctly working and you need to either set to default configuration of IIS or change web.config file located in root of UseResponse installation

Hi Stas,
Thanks for the very quick answer. Just fixed that (that was indeed my apache config). I'm stuck one level further: install has been done, main page is showing under my domain localhost/userresponse (folder I put it in), but any attempt to use any functionality results in a page not found. I would suppose that this is something linked to my "base url" folder, but not sure which one.

You need to remove this line from .htaccess as you've installed in sub-folder of the domain (there was a hint on installation page about that):

I did that, and restarted my apache service. Anything else needs to be done there ?

You can try also replacing this line in .htaccess
with this line
where folder is your installation folder that you enter in URL. In your case it's userresponse

Also, we strongly recommend checking Our Demo if you want to try all features as Free package is limited in modules and features and a bit outdated.

Does it means that the free version is not usable (looking at the features, it is enough for us to start, and should our community pick up, we can then look at upgrading)?
I did the rewrite base without impact. Not sure my Apache is using the .htaccess properly, will need to check. Could you share a standard htaccess file for user response?
Thanks,
Martin

Free version is usable, just limited in features.
Sorry, we can't share .htaccess as this kind of support is provided to Customers with Corporate package
