Archived Matthew S. 12 years ago

Hi there,

I have just gone through the install process, and this completed fine.

When i visit the main url subdomain.example.com i get a redirect loop and an error.

Any idea how i can fix this?

The problem might be in incorrect server configuration, most probably mod_rewrite. So t's better to have access to your environment to check, but unfortunately we do provide such support to paid customers

Umm mod rewrite is working fine on some other domains on same system.

I am guessing it is the .htaccess file causing the problem, however i am not to sure how to fix.

It is a shame you cannot help, obviously we want to try out the system before upgrading.

Thanks anyway.

.htaccess is the file where rewrite rules work, so mod_rewrite is the problem. Try to play with it. It's really hard to identify the exact problem not having access to the FTP.

If you want to try software, create online demo at http://www.useresponse.com/trial
