Incorrect work with "Votes" in new UR 3.1
I have a few issues with new UR 3.1 around number of votes and sorting.
1. Number of votes was dramatically reduced after update. For example our most voted topic before update had around 60 votes if I remember correctly, now it has only 13. Is there any big change in counting of real votes?
2. Sort "by popular" is not correct. Check attached screenshot01 so you may see what I mean. I expect that topic will be sorted by total amount of received votes. (same on your page - https://help.useresponse.com/topics/all/status/all/category/all/sort/popular/page/1)
3. Number of votes is incorrect in list above. For example first topic on screenshot01 (Offline search), has 30 votes, but in detail, check screenshot02.
4. follow these steps:
- open http://help.locusmap.eu/topics/category/locus-free-pro/status/all
- tap on top to "All topics" and change to "Ideas"
- sorting is now incorrect
Maybe important information, that whole Locus help desk page is create by migration form GetSatisfaction.

This issue requires more time for us to think how to handle the records, that were in 2.3.x as one record with several votes and now are multiple records in DB.
So we'll get back to you tomorrow, so we could organize internal meeting and decide the universal approach.

We've decided to count only positive votes that should be counted as topic ranking. All negative votes will be seen on topics detailed page which will be shown only for statistics purpose. Consider it will be fixed with 3.1.1 release that will be live in the next few days.

Hmm, I'm thinking about it and agree that for users, it should be better solution. They will see which topics are most interesting (in positive meaning) to others and not which are most discussed or most hated. Why not.
Anyway, back to my points in first post. What you wrote may explain really tiny change in number of votes, because in topics are close to zero negative votes. So all four points should still be consider as bug reports. Thanks
