How to get rid off "thanks" topics in active list

Answered Jirka M. 8 years ago

Good day,

I would like to ask, how to "get rid of" thanks topics in list of active topics in own filter.

Example on screenshot

25826e6e43319fb36cf5677af12c07cc

My reports has defined to display "all active" objects that require reply. But "thanks" topics do not have any mark as "completed", so how may I mark them as completed and remove them from this list?

Hope my question is clear, otherwise feel free to ask me for extra information. Thank you.

In order to make selection without thanks, you can select required Statuses from the list of topic types, and as an object type to be everything without thanks.

Let me know if it works for you.

Good day,

I understand this option and I'm sure it works fine, anyway such change will lead to extra work ... I'll need to have another filter just for "thanks" topics and watch them separately.

Isn't planned any option (maybe not a visible to user), where moderator may mark "thanks" topic as "completed", so it will stop appear in list of "active" topics?

We'll include this tweak in the upcoming release as it's correct - thanks should be marked as completed by default.

Perfect, thank you very much. It will help mainly my wife. She has here list full of these topics and it's sometimes real mess.

Have a nice day Stas.

You are welcome. Quick question.. How come, thanks in the list has status? By default in the system, you shouldn't add statuses to thanks type. maybe this is the problem?

Ah forget to mention this, sorry.

Nono, it's not the problem. I'm sure you will get also "thanks" topics in your own list of active objects.

This thanks topic ( http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/remember-when-a-training-profile-has-been-enabled ) has status, because user firstly created this as an "issue" and later changed to "thanks" ( you may read about it in his second answer). Just some small issue in your system probably, nothing serious.

Thank you, we'll fix that.
