Frequent crashes after update to 2.3.6

Archived Krzysztof G. 11 years ago

Dear UseResponse team,

Regardless you receive crash reports automatically or not, I'd like to report one. It happens about ten times per day so it gets me a little worried.

The crash message is saying:

  1. EXCEPTION: Decoding failed: Syntax error[\li]
  2. Exception on line 46610 in file /home/glodos/public_html/support/library/hotFiles.php, PHP 5.3.27 (Linux)

And this is the stack trace:

ifu7IMx5zRkp5u4FPfhN

I will be thankful for providing a solution.

Hello Krzysztof,

You need to disable magic_quotes_gpc in your php.ini settings and it should work. Make sure to restart apache after that.

Let us know if it helped you.

I disabled magic quotes some time ago so it looks like the problem lays somewhere else. Let me know if you need any additional details.

Krzysztof,

Could you please take a look at php.info or show it to us, as it would be seen if magic_quotes are off or on. Because that is the only problem that could be.
