Email Notification issues
When setting up your Category Notifications for email, I've found a few issues.
When I set my own category choices, then go view another user's profile, their choices always reflect my own. We had multiple admins check this, and each user saw his own settings, not those of the user being viewed.
We also noted that when we added Private Categories, we could not longer change the Category Selections at all. Disabling categories and saving the changes reloads to every category being selected.
Let me know if you need more information to look into this.
Thanks,
Mike
Mike,
What UseResponse version are you using?
We've tested it, but did not find any problems.
Note, that each administrator must setup Category Notifications by himself in his account.

We're using 2.3.7 currently, updating to 2.3.8 soon.
When we look at other "Official Representative" users, we see our own category email settings reflected there, regardless of what that user sets. The user sees the correct choices, however, and can set their own normally. It works, but it's confusing if you're trying to check another user's settings.
The other issue with Private Categories happened easily - you were unable to reproduce?

Mike,
What I see now.. small issues, that you as admin see your selection of Categories notifications at other admins profiles.
So that if this admin goes to his profile settings - he will see Categories selection correctly.
Solution: use our ShadowViewer Module to change settings for other users.
As for private categories, could you please clarify in more details what do you mean?
Note: don't change categories notification settings for other users while you are logged in under your admin account. Better use ShadowViewer Module in extras

Hi Stas - We'll look into Shadow Viewer, thanks.
When we create Private Categories, they are automatically assigned to the Official Representatives. If we try to edit our email preferences to remove those, it fails - the page reloads with ALL categories selected. Once you try to make one change, you're stuck with all categories.
When we removed the Private Categories, we were able to change and save our email preferences without trouble.
