Blank page after fresh installation

Archived Hadi Abughazalah 9 years ago

I thought this should be your main software and should be working out of the box. I tried it on a fresh installation and im getting a blank page. I tried doing the permission thing and removing the rewritebase from .htaccess but with no luck. Please advice. My address is questions.hazemabughazaleh.com

Hello Hadi,

You shouldn't have removed rewrite base from .htaccess as you've accessing it as a subdomain. Anyway, let us check it quickly where the problem is

We've found the error. The problem is that you've uploaded files not in binary mode.

In installation requirements it's said that you need to upload files in binary mode. Or you can upload archive and extract it in cpanel.

Hadi,

You need to upload files in binary mode, as they are corrupted now on server. Take a look at the following file:

/application/modules/system/models/DbTable/Module.php

We can do it for you, or just reupload all files, clean db and remove application/configs/application.inc and start over installation and it should work.

As mentioned, we can do it for you with installation credit that you can get on licenses page

If you reupload files in binary mode and start fresh installation one more time, it shouldn't be any problems.

There is also option to install system for you, and do on our own, if you get installation credit here.

Sorry, but that is provided with installation credit.

My suggestion that you upload archive and with the help of File Manager in Cpanel extract the archive and this will work.

Hello Hadi,

I had exactly same problem around half year ago. Never before such issue occur during some of my work, just here. Anyway final solution was using app called 'FileZilla'. It was only one FTP client that was able to copy files so installation went well. Just a small tip ...
