Launch date

Hello, i've just started looking into Useresponse and i have a question. A business rule i'd like to implement is that an agent has to add a launch date (when will the idea be implemented) when the status of an idea is changed to 'planned'. Is there any way that i can require specific input fields on a status change for example, or is there another way to achieve this?

Hello Bram,

Unfortunetely system doesn't have such option by default. Custom fields can be either private or purblic, required or not. So they can't be required based on other conditions.

There are small workarounds to make support agent select Launch date field when status is set to planned, but this way we need to add 2 extra fields: one main field and conditional field which will appear when status is planned and will be required to select. We, personally don't like such option, but it shoudl work.
