Should be able to remove or change author of topic

When some users submit tickets that I feel would be useful as topics, I convert them to topics. But I don't feel comfortable leaving the original author on the topic. Being able to remove or change author would solve this problem.

Kris,

At this moment UseResponse doesn't have feature to change object author. So far, we don't think it appropriate.

BTW thanks for your idea, we'll consider it a little bit later and notify you about the decision.

Please do consider. We are trying to build up our questions database so people can find their own answers. This is one of the reasons why useresponse is so great. For now I will recreate the topic manually.

Please use topic recreation manually. In the next major release, this would be available in topics and tickets management section.

We would also like to see this functionality in the system as we use the Community to manage our global internal requests. For example, when a client goes directly to a sales person we have the sales person forward the email request to our support team. We then want to change the author from the sales person to the client. Thanks

Just to confirm something, is this ONLY for public topics?

Does this also apply to private tickets?
