Multilanguage Knowledge Base

Integrate multilanguage articles and faqs within one community. The purpose of that integration is to provide the same articles in several languages, as Knowledge Base could be concentrated in one place for different websites.

Currently you can create knowledge base only in 1 language, but do think that in situation when you have several languages, it would be required to have it at one place

Hello Stas, I have to add vote and comment to this idea. From my point of view, for everyone who do wants to use KB on is't UR installation and do not stick with one country, this is currently biggest drawback.


Out situation: we have quite large knowledge base on Wiki mainly because of possibility to use more languages for one article. KB on your system looks quite nice, but without multiple languages, it is quite useless for us.


Are there any more specific time plans on this idea, or is it still only "planned"? Thank you

It's on our roadmap, so it would be done during next months along with global system support of the "Worlds" system that I can't disclose now :)

Can you suggest how may we make eng version of our knowledge base? For example: can we make second base with some different address? Like site.com/response/en.knowledge-base or other?

Right now, you need to have 2nd installation that requires additional license for self-hosted.

I just want to know, if there are any changes planned concerning this topic?

We evaluated useresponse and liked it a lot, but to maintance seperate systems for each language is a big issues for us.

We have to support 4 languages and likely even more in the future.

4.0 major release that is going to be live summer 2016 would have such option to support multilanguage knowledge base.

Major release is the one where we work for at least 6 months, so it's really hard to give exact day or week. We expect it to push live in July. It depends how polished it would be by that time,.

1. Exist there any more details what is planned here? How it will work?

2. Has this any influence on the license? Will this feature be extra charged?

We are glad to announce this feature for all our enteprise customers. So multilingual knowledge base comes only in Enterprise solution being a part of Multi-Forum addon.
