LDAP Admin Account Password change - Cant Login

Answered Guest 8 years ago

Hello there,

The password for the LDAP admin account has been changed but was not updated in the UseResponse Single Sign-on Config. Now no one can login to our local useresponse site with their AD account including useresponse admin. The old password is not known so we cant reset it back either. Can anything be done to get around this?

Thanks

Hello,

You can set new admin credentials directly in your database, 'settings' table, 'sso_ldap_admin_username' and 'sso_ldap_admin_password' keys. Is it suitable for you?

Great! thank you, that was it. We were able to find the password and reset it to that.

Many thanks!

Hello,

We've finally done it for all users. So now, if you are not able to login to your LDAP server or changed credentials on LDAP server before authentication process, you would be shown a form on /login to enter new LDAP Admin and Password credentials to enter the system.
