Edit of a response should allow me to change "status" and also "add comment"

Archived Lukáš Hasik 11 years ago

Whenever I want to "work" with a response I have to

1, open the "response page" URL/responses/XYZ

--I can change "status", "add off.response", and "comment"

2, open /response/XYZ/edit--I can change "description", "title", "labels" and "product"

And in most cases every change triggers email. However I can change "properties" only one by one.

Ideally I'd like

  1. be able to Edit all "properties" ("description", "title", "labels", "product", "status", "add off.response", "comment") at the /response/XYZ/edit page
  2. be able to change at least "status" (ideally even more properties) at /responses/ideas/status/all page because it's paintfull to do it one by one (similar to https://help.useresponse.com/responses/how-to-change-more-responses-at-once)

Thanks for idea. We have some plans on changing type, description, visibility right on full response page - this is a plan to simplify system and we moved towards it already. Should be integrated soon.

If you think of more improvements, especially in workflow, please share with us. As we are thinking to divide public and private area, so that private topics are only under Profile activity and Tickets section. It will be a part of HelpDesk module that will be renamed from Private Objects

You can do it now not only in edit page, but with the help of multi-edit options in the list or on topics page (CTRL/CMD+E)

Also it's available in mobile interface since 3.1.1 release
