Is it possible to forbid changing e-mail adress for users?

Answered Robert Klinger 6 years ago

We use single-sign-on mechanism. But if a user changes his e-mail adress within useresponse, this mechanism can fail because the e-mail adress is the (single sign on)-mapping between the other system and use-response.

Is it possible to forbid that users can change their e-mail adress?

Hello, Robert,

you can hide field "Email" in settings of user's profile using custom CSS.

So users wouldn't be able to change their email address.

Actually once user changes the email and login via SSO, login shouldn't fail as new user is created in the system.

Please let us know if you have more questions.
